This natural ravine cut deep into the mountain side at Saklikent with its fast running white water is a welcoming refuge away from the hot summer sunshine, it offers a pleasant diversion from the normal pool side sunbathing activities

Saklikent in Turkish means "Hidden City" The walls are so high that they cut out most of the sunlight and the fresh spring waters that flow through are freezing cold!. A cool refuge on hot summer days, Saklikent Gorge is a favourite picnic spot where rustic restaurants overhanging the river serve delicious fresh trout and other local delicacies.

On arrival take a trip along the base of the canyon, follow the fast running watercourse,  enjoy light refreshments within one of the numerous self-constructed restaurants and cross the ice-cold rivulet
